Biography: Dr. Bahadir SATANA (Oral Surgeon and Implant Specialist) received his dental degree from the Aegean University Faculty of Dentistry between 1999 - 2004. After completing a general practice residency Dr. Satana received a specialty certificate in periodontics from Selcuk University’s Postgraduate Advanced Education Program.

In 2009, he received his DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree from the Selcuk University Faculty of Dentistry, graduating with honors. Dr. Satana completed a Fellowship Program in Oral Implantology and Periodontology as part of the University of Oulu’s continuing education program in Finland.  Dr. Satana has done research in the fields of dental implants and pathogenesis of periodontal disease. He received advanced training in implant dentistry and regenerative therapy. He has attended many seminars and courses throughout Asia and in Europe related to implant dentistry, periodontics and oral surgery.

He is currently working in the Dental Centre Antalya who has some of the latest technology available in Europe such as an X-Ray Tomography machine (3D Digital X-Ray), guide implant computer software and his own Implant Planning Team. The clinic is one of three clinics in Turkey who are able to execute implants with this latest technology, resulting in a more friendly procedure for the patient after which no stitches are required.
