Udent Istanbul Dental Clinic Staff

Ph. D Tulin Ulu Sever, DDS

Born in Istanbul, in 1975. Graduated Istanbul University, Faculty of Dentistry in 1998.

She began her doctorate program at the Operative Dentistry Department. Dr. Ulu Sever then began her research and development studies at Dentsply in Konstanz, Germany in 2003.

In 2005, she earned the distinguished title of Dr. Med. Dent. with her thesis on the affect of dental bleaching materials on remineralisation capacity of dental enamel.

She then moved on to establish the Udent Istanbul Dental Clinic, the same year. Dr. Ulu Sever still works as a dentist in her own clinic.

Engin Utkan, DDS

Born in Istanbul, in 1975. Graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Dentistry in 1998.

Dt. Utkan, worked as a dentist in all branches of general dentistry at various clinics.

Dt. Utkan, who’s particularly interested in surgery, joined Udent Istanbul Dentistry Clinic in 2005.

He currently works at the clinic as an independent dentist.

Sibel Bulut

Born in Kayseri, in 1989. She is the dental assistant at Udent Istanbul Clinic.

I'll admit, as an American, I was hesitant to have major dental work done in a foreign country. I couldn't possibly afford this work in the U.S., so took a chance on Dr. Tulin's free assessment as a lark, since I was going to be in Istanbul anyway. Please understand, my teeth are very bad, almost beyond hope. I was immediately impressed with the extreme cleanliness and professional environment of the clinic. I became more impressed during the consultation. Dr. Tulin described several ways to address my problem. No pressure tactics, only options. She is a "cosmetic" dentist, but don't let that title fool you. She is an expert in every way. I chose to have 11 crowns on my upper teeth that day. After three hours in the dental chair with Dr. Tulin grinding away, I walked out with temp crowns. "Please come back tomorrow and you will have pretty temp crowns from the lab." Both were just fine as temp crowns. I went to SE Turkey for a week. When I returned to Istanbul, the permanent crowns were ready. Dr. Tulin is a perfectionist. Several dental appointments later, adjusting everything to her standards, I walked out of her clinic with great, natural looking teeth. Two months later, I'm back in the U.S. I've always been the kind of person who smiles a lot, but was embarrassed by my teeth. Now I smile proudly, without trying to cover up bad teeth. I'm planning to go back in March to get implants for my lower teeth. All of this work was very affordable, a fraction of the exorbitant costs in the U.S. plus fewer appointments and no red tape in dealing with insurance companies. I am very satisfied with the entire experience and I highly recommend Dr. Tulin's clinic in Istanbul.

I visited Tulin at Udent to have a badly chipped molar repaired. My first impression was very good, Tulin greeted us with a big smile and the clinic was very nice and modern. Tulin repaired the tooth and made a filling, she was very thorough, but made the repairs completely painlessly. After she had completed the work the tooth feels as good as new, and you can’t even see the work that she did! Possibly some of the best dental work I’ve seen – I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any of my friends or family.

I had root canal surgery done on my tooth a couple of years ago and it had turned grey. I went to see Tulin, who said that because we were leaving 2 days later the best option was to bleach the tooth. She was very thorough and gentle during the procedure, in which she had to drill and bleach the tooth. The tooth now looks great and I can’t stop smiling! I highly recommend her.

Perfection. The best word to describe my experience with Udent and Dr. Tulin Ulu. My surgeon and my dentist both warned me against getting my crowns done outside the U.S. but I couldn't afford another $4,000 after getting the initial implant surgery. So with a little investigating I found Dr. Ulu, and I was going to Istanbul anyway, so I made the appointment. Without exaggeration this was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
