  • What to See

The Dental Practice Dr. Ježina is located in one of the most beautiful Croatian cities – Split. The second largest Croatian city is situated in the warmest region of the northern Mediterranean coast, in the very centre of the Adriatic coast. Nowadays it represents the urban, touristic, administrative and economic centre of southern Croatia.Split developed about 1700 years ago when, on the ruins of the Greek Asphalatos in the immediate vicinity of the ancient urban center Salona, the Roman emperor Diocletian had built a magnificent palace to spend his last days in. The world’s best preserved late antique palace evolved over the years to become an entire town, known as Split. Today Split is the capital of Dalmatia, whose Mediterranean charm and magnificent architecture leaves its visitors breathless.

    What to Savor

The historic centre of Split is on UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites, and besides the Cathedral of St. Domnius, the patron saint of Split, the city has many other valuable monuments outside the walls of Diocletian’s Palace (Renaissance Prokurative Square, Romanesque churches, palaces, numerous museums…) including many thriving dining options that host special charm.

    Where to Stay

Split is where the Ultra Europe Festival, Opening Party and Boat Parties take place. Croatia’s second largest city is centred around the Roman ruins of Diocletian’s Palace, while there are many bars and restaurants in the old town and along the port. Bacvice city beach is a beautiful spot. The city centre is small enough to be walkable, and accommodation prices are highest here.
