Catheter device closure of ASD,VSD,PDA and other interventions are routinely performed.Two dedicated cardiac anesthetists, Dr.Banu Soykan and Dr.Ayse Ulukol, are responsible for the anesthesia management in the operating room, catheter laboratory and intensive care unit.

 

In addition to transthoracic, transesophageal and fetal echocardiography, and catheter laboratory facilities, cardiac imaging suite includes 2x64 dual source CT and 1.5 tesla MR. Cardiac imaging department is directed by Asc.Prof.Dr.Ozlem Saygili.



Multidisciplinary approach: Pediatric and adult Cardiac team weekly conferences are held on Wednesdays, where all patient data is collected, evaluated and final analysis is done regarding the best therapy.

Two state-of-the-art operating rooms and intensive care unit with 10 beds (3 open beds for nenonates) are dedicated to congenital and cardiac patients. TEE, ECMO, Biopump, IABP and ultrafiltration/dialysis facilities are available.
