About Akanksha Infertility Clinic

Akanksha Infertility and IVF clinic in Anand, Gujarat was founded to give a helping hand with modern techniques to infertile couples, for costs that are among the lowest anywhere in the world. The centre, and Dr. Naina Patel, have been featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show, CNN and BBC News.
 
At Present the centre has more than 150IVF babies and 600 IUI babies to its credit. The centre has the largest number surrogates with them and at present there are nine IVF surrogates pregnant for Indian and foreign couples (August 2006).
Dr. Nayna Patel, the medical director of this centre made news headlines around the world when one of her patients gave birth to two healthy grandchildren after being a surrogate mother for her daughter.

Dr. Nayna Patel, medical director of this centre has passed her MBBS and MD with five Gold Medals. She has received extensive training for all these techniques Mr. Himanshu Patel is the embryologist of our team and has technical collaboration with Jordan Hospital, IVF centre, Amman, Jordan. He has been trained for IVF at Diamond institute for infertility, N.J. USA. Also trained for ICSI at Jordan hospital, Jordan. He has visited various Centres in USA, UK and Germany. He has to his credit, more than 100 IVF and ICSI pregnancies... Mrs Harsha is the second full time embryologist. Dr. Umaben Jaiswal and Dr. Saroj R Grover are the assistants doctors of the team.

Dr. Nayna Patel, medical director of this centre has passed her MBBS and MD with five Gold Medals. She has received extensive training for all these techniques. She has attended the scientific programme and IVF workshop at National University, Singapore in 1996, and has been to IVF centres in USA.

Dr. Himanshu Patel

M.Sc. - Clinical Embryology (Uni. Of Leeds, UK)

He is master in Clinical Embryology from University of Leeds, UK. He has experience in human IVF since 1996. He is doing all ART procedures including IVF, ICSI, Assisted Hatching, Embryo Biopsy for PGD and Freezing of gametes. He has presented and published many papers in National & International journals and conferences.

Dr. Uma Jayswal

B.A.M.S

She did her schooling from St. Anne’s senior secondary school and BAMS from Ayurvedic College Nadiad. She has worked as an assistant Doctor with Dr. Jainaben Director of Krishna Hospital Nadiad. Right now she is working as a senior assistant doctor and chief counselor for IVF, egg donation, surrogacy programs. She is working with this centre last 9 yrs.

Dr. Saroj R Grover

BAMS, Diploma in Aids and Family Education

Dr. Saroj Grover who did her schooling from board of school education Haryana and B.A. M.S from M. D. University Rohtak Haryana and Diploma in AIDS & FAMILY EDUCATION From New Delhi. She has four years Experience as Resident Medical officer & RMO Gynae at Arandati Hospital, Ansari Hospital, Ganpatrai Hospital and Sharma in Delhi and Haryana. She also worked as assistant doctor at DRUG DEDUCTION CENTRE in New Delhi Wherein she has exposure of various patient of Hepatitis, AIDS , Tuberculosis, Smokers , Alcoholics and Addicted persons of Heroin , Morphine,Cocain,Brown Sugar, Fortwin Phenargan and Sedative drugs ,Tranquilsers etc. She is working with this centre since Jan. 2006.
