Dr. Kaushal Kadam, the Medical Director, who has been in this field for more than ten years and who has given the joy of becoming parents  to numerous couples ,  personally takes care of each patient  right from the time they come for their initial consultation to ultrasounds and finally their pregnancy test. This is what makes her clinic, Corion, unique as the delicate parts of the treatment are not handed over to other IVF staff members but taken care of herself. She has been known for her dedicated approach in this field and her clinic excels in treatments for third party reproduction including Surrogacy.  The center has a dedicated team of ART specialists including embryologists, counselors, secretariat and other nursing and technical staff.

Corion is equipped to handle both endoscopic surgeries as well as ART treatments. The operation theatre is well illuminated with mobile light from Midmark, USA. There is an electromechanical operating table and an LCD connected to the laboratory so that the patient can not only visualise the embryo transfer herself but also see her embryos. The endoscopic equipment is all imported from Karl Storz, Germany . The IVF laboratory is a state of the art lab with two incubators which act as back up for one another, a good working station from K-Systems to handle the delicate eggs and embryos , the ICSI machine is from the UK and cryopreservation tanks from USA.  An air purification system ensures a zero dust and sterile atmosphere for optimal embryo culture.  To avoid any contamination of the laboratory, the andrology section is separate from the main lab with its own work station , microscope and centrifuge.

Dr. Kadam, believes in giving the patients complete satisfaction and has therefore chosen her motto as “From Conception to Cradles.” Thus, the clinic believes in assisting the patients not only in conceiving but to provide healthy babies with the help of Surrogacy.  The aim is to bring Joy to all  infertile couples, assist them during their most stressful period of trying and help them in the most scientific manner by offering all therapies under one roof.

About Mumbai, India

 Mumbai

Mumbai, earlier known as Bombay, is the largest city in India and the capital of Maharashtra state. Mumbai was originally a conglomeration of seven islands on the Konkan coastline which over time were joined to form the island city of Bombay. The island was in turn joined with the neighbouring island of Salsette to form Greater Bombay. The city has an estimated metropolitan population of 17 million (2005), making it one of the largest cities in the world. Mumbai is the only major city in India which has the largest slum population. Mumbai is also one of India's largest port cities and looms large as the commercial capital of India. Mumbai's nature as the most eclectic and cosmopolitan Indian city is symbolized in the presence of Bollywood within the city, the centre of the globally-influential Hindi film and TV industries.

Climate

Mumbai has three main seasons — Summer, Monsoon, and Winter (milder summer). The best time to visit is during the winter between November and February. Summer is from March to May with highs in the low to mid 30s. It is hot and humid during this time. June to September is the monsoon season when the city is lashed by heavy rain. The city gets flooded two or three times and normal life gets disrupted during this season. Climate is humid pretty much throughout the year, because it is on the coast.

Reviews for Corion Fertility Clinic

Write a Review for Corion Fertility Clinic

We have been trying to have a family for about 8 years now and we have gone through many IVF clinics and done a lot of cycles here in the United States and one in India. Unfortunately none of them resulted in positive pregnancy for us. Early this year we decided to go in for a cycle of surrogacy and after much research (which included meeting with some of the other US and indian surrogacy centers) put our faith in Dr. Kadam and we're very glad we did. We both feel that Dr. Kadam is not only an exceptional doctor but also a very patient and sensitive listener. She was available for all or any questions we had at any time. We even called her on her mobile phone many times when we had a question or a concern. When we were in United States most of our communication was done via e-mail which worked out very well. During the surrogacy process some unexpected things occurred but Dr. Kadam was prepared well. We had to change our surrogate because she started bleeding. However Dr. Kadam had backup surrogates and sent us their profiles right away and we were able to complete the cycle successfully without any delay. I am 35 and when she noticed that my uterine lining wasn’t that thick, she adjusted the dose of the medication accordingly. I was still not making that many eggs but she did her best to harvest as many as she could. We finally had 4 eggs and 2 of them fertilized and were planted in our surrogate. As for the medical facility in Mumbai, Corion Fertility center is equipped with the latest medical equipment and I didn't have any problems at all. Additionally the staff was very courteous. Our surrogate is 8 weeks along and we're very excited and happy for our future.
