I had a wonderful Experience at this clinic, at 46 years old my chances of conceiving were very low and in the UK the process would be very expensive and quite demoralising. Immediately upon contacting the international team I was treated quickly, efficiently and most of all with understanding and compassion. I now have a beautiful son for which I am eternally grateful and I still kep in contact with the lovely staff. Do not hesitate to use this clinic, it is clean, modern, centrally located, reasonably priced and very successful.

What is IVF with Embryo Donation and Adoption?

During IVF treatments, there are always excess embryos available in fertility clinics which can be adopted by childless couples. Among the embryo donation destinations are Mexico, Cyprus, Greece, Turkey and Colombia. The cost of IVF with embryo donation and adoption is highly affordable in Cyprus and Greece where IVF clinics offer the latest in assisted reproductive technology. Success rates of IVF with embryo donation and adoption in Colombia has seen a significant increase in all IVF treatments.

The egg donation process is employed through an IVF clinic or an assisted reproductive treatment agent. Over the past few years, pregnancy rates of donated embryos have been growing; in recognitions to the clinical research and medical advancements. One of the unique benefits of IVF with embryo adoption allows the parents to get emotionally involved in the pregnancy and child birth.

A Good Candidate for IVF with Embryo Donation

Good candidates for IVF with embryo donation are couples who have failed in IVF procedures or cannot afford egg adoption. An ideal example of a candidate of IVF with embryo donation would be if a husband for an intended couple has no sperm due to sperm production; or the female partner, who suffers from poor egg quality due to aging or premature menopause. Infertile couples often usually seek egg donation from other couples who have undergone IVF treatment and achieved the family of their desired size; ultimately donated their extra embryos rather than discarding them.

IVF with Embryo Donation and Adoption Procedure

IVF with Embryo Donation and Adoption Timeline:

1. The recipient couple will be screened for infectious diseases, such as HIV, Hepatitis B & C and for sexually transmitted diseases such as Gonorrhea, Syphilis, CMV and Chlamydia. Regardless of whether or not the recipient chooses to have the fertility clinic screen the donor further, the center will match the physical characteristics (ethnicity, height, build, skin type, eye color, hair color and texture) of the embryo donors to the recipient couple, or woman.

2. After the donor embryo and the recipient mother pass all necessary screenings, the recipient will be put on fertility medications to thicken her uterine lining in preparation for the embryo transfer.

3. The embryo transfer procedure is the final stage in IVF treatment cycles. If the embryos have been cryopreserved, they are thawed on the morning of treatment and the outside temperature of the embryo is brought to the same temperature as the uterus lining. The embryos are transferred into the uterus through the cervix with a catheter. Typically 2-4 embryos are transferred into the uterus to increase the chances of pregnancy.

4. Embryos are commonly implanted on the day 5, during the blastocyst stage of cell development. If done successfully, the patient can go home and should rest for the remainder of the day. A pregnancy test will be given 12-15 days after the embryo transfer. If the IVF is successful, a normal pregnancy can be carried out.
