Botox in Morocco
For the past 4 years I have been having Botox treatments by a top specialist in my home town of London. On a visit to Morocco recently & noticing my last treatment had worn off I decided on a whim to visit Dr Aboufirass Abdellatif. He treated both the forehead & eye area & I am thrilled with the results which are superior to the results I am used to, not only is everything smoothed out but he has also managed to create a pleasing lifting effect to my eyes. Despite the further distance I will not hesitate to have my next treatment with Dr Abdellatif. Great value for money too for the results which have been achieved

What is Botox Injection?

Botox, commonly referred to as fillers, is the cosmetic name for botulinum toxin. Botox is commonly used as a filler to temporarily reduce or eliminate wrinkles in the forehead, fine lines around the sides of the eyes, and frown lines in between the eyebrows. Botox injections are also solutions to ailments such as blepharospasm (uncontrolled blinking), strabismus (lazy eye), and excessive sweating.

Because Botox can only stop the muscles from contracting causing the muscles in the face to relax, therefore softening the wrinkles, wrinkles that have formed as a result of sun damage and gravity will respond poorly to Botox. Botox is also known for its positive effect on migraines and its non-invasive approach in treatment.

A Good Candidate for Botox Injection

Good candidates for Botox Injections are healthy individuals between the ages of 35 and 65 who are free from neurological disease. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should not be treated with Botox.

Botox Injection Procedure

Botox injection is a non-invasive, non-surgical procedure that does not require anesthesia. Aspirin and anti-inflammatory medications should be avoided two weeks before the procedure to reduce bruising. A numbing cream may be applied to the area that will be concentrated on.

The doctor will mark points on the face indicating where the needles will be injected. Botox filler is injected into the marked areas on the skin, which may not necessarily be on the wrinkles themselves.

The toxins that are released into the nerve endings stop the muscles from contracting resulting in softer wrinkles.

Average Duration of a Botox Injection Procedure: 10-20 minutes
