About Mexican Institute of Infertility The Mexican Institute of Infertility is a multi-disciplinary establishment for men and women experiencing difficulties with reproduction. We offer the most modern treatments in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) with IVF and laboratory-investigations of andrology and genetics. Our specialties include gynaecology and obstetrics, surgery, urology, andrology, endocrinology, embryology, genetics, biology and anaesthesia, as well as nutrition and counselling. achieving pregnancy with a woman’s own oocytes, and therefore can increase the anxiety that couples face. Dr. Alejandro Chávez-Badiola
Since 2007, Dr. Chávez-Badiola became Scientific Director to the largest IVF provider in Western Mexico, the Infertility Mexican Institute (IMI), as well as Professor of Gynaecology and Research Coordinator for the Clinical Sciences Division, CUCS, at the Guadalajara University in Mexico. Dr. Chávez-Badiola is an outstanding clinician and active researcher with special interest in the fields of fertility preservation, IVF minimal stimulation, and has recently joined the project for In-vitro maturation of human oocytes at the Infertility Mexican Institute, Institution which has become pioneer in this field over the last years.
Dr. Luis Arturo Ruvalcaba Castellón
Dr. Ruvalcaba is member to the most important societies in reproductive medicine around the globe, including ASRM, ESHRE, APART, ALIRH and AMRA, amongst others; as well as for endoscopic societies and fertility preservation societies. As an opinion leader in his field, Dr. Ruvalcaba has published scientific papers in several journals, including the prestigious Fertility and Sterility, and Reproductive Biomedicine Online. His work has been object of several presentations at national and international meetings, both as free speaker and as invited professor.

Dr. José Medina Flores
Graduated from medical school (Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara), following which he graduated from specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Hospital General de Occidente (Universidad de Guadalajara), in 2004.
Dr. Medina-Flores pursued training in gynaecologic endoscopic surgery (Laparoscopy and hysteroscopy) , levels I, II and III, at the Hospital Civil de Guadalajara, following which he received subspecialist training in Human Reproductive Biology at Hospital Angeles del Pedregal (UNAM), ultil graduation in 2008. Member to the best recognised medical societies in his speciality, Dr. Medina has published and presented his original research work at national and international stages.
